Cable-ready means that the various cablecast rights of the program are granted for play on cable access channels of local cable TV systems across North America. A set of instructions is available that explains how to do this in most cable coverage areas. You are encouraged to add a local phone number to the end of these videos so people can contact a local person for more information about Freemasonry.
These programs usually air on public access channels, which are provided by the cable TV company locally as part of its contract with the city or municipal government who granted then the cable TV franchise in the first place.
You should contact your local government agency about these public access channels to find out the rules in your area and how these channels can be used by citizens. Then contact the appropriate cable TV office to have any of our **cable-ready** videos played on these public access channels. On some cable systems the cable access operator may ask for a 3/4-inch video cassette of the program, or for a digital video cassette. We can provide our programs on these broadcast format for an additional charge of $25 + s/h per program ordered.
